Classes & Group Lessons

In 8 weeks you will be proficient in the basics of violin, viola and cello. Our 8 week lesson program will teach you everything you need to be successful on your instrument. The Music Loft provides students with safe, in person, training on foundational techniques such as holding your instrument, bowing, note reading, rhythms and more. The groups are limited to 8 students per group.

Over the last 2 years we have faced many challenges learning the violin, viola or cello virtually. You will review foundational techniques such as proper positioning, Our 8 week session will get you in shape with everything you need to continue to be successful for the school year while brushing up on some older skills. This class gives students a safe, in person, training on foundational techniques, note reading, playing in a group and more. The groups are limited to 8 students per group.

As part of our ongoing commitment to educate the whole musician, The Music Loft has created weekly ensemble classes to provide students with a comprehensive music education. Classes meet on Friday evenings and it allows students to learn, explore and create music. Classes are created for our student population and are taught by our faculty.
